Product Overview
Vanconol® amine TOH is an alkyl imidazoline structured organic intermediate boasting excellent thermal stability. In its unneutralized state, amine TOH is hydrophobic and readily soluble in organic solvents, non-polar solvents, and mineral oils.
The unique imidazoline ring structure allows the molecule to form strong ion-bonds with polar substances. This facilitates powerful adsorption onto metals, fibers, plastics, glass, and mineral surfaces, creating a dense molecular film that effectively converts hydrophilic surfaces into hydrophobic ones.

Key Applications
Bitumen (Asphalt): Enhances adhesion between asphalt and sand/gravel, providing resistance to flooding, acid rain, and corrosion.
Rubber Processing: Acts as a retarder for fast-curing butyl rubbers, a curing accelerator, and a softening/plasticizing agent.
Antistatic Agents: Forms a continuous conducting film on fibers and plastics to dissipate static charges during production.
Paints: Improves paint adhesion to wet surfaces and enhances overall water-proofing and pigment dispersion.
Packing & Quality Assurance
Handling: Product should be sealed and stored in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area away from ignition sources.
Standard Packing: 25kg plastic drums or 200kg iron drums.
