Amine TOH Corrosion Inhibitor for Oilfield Chemicals
Tall oil based hydroxyethyl imidazoline
Cas No: 61791-39-7
EINECS: 263-171-2
Amine TOH is an alkyl imidazoline structured organic intermediate with excellent thermal stability. In its unneutralized form, it is hydrophobic and soluble in organic solvents, non-polar solvents, and mineral oil. The unique imidazoline ring structure allows it to form ion-bonds with substances of opposite polarity, enabling strong adsorption on metals, fibers, plastics, glass, and mineral surfaces. This results in a dense molecular film that converts hydrophilic surfaces into hydrophobic ones.
When neutralized as a salt, it remains stable under acidic conditions, effectively reducing the surface tension of acidic aqueous solutions. This makes it ideal for pickling solutions. The neutralized salt provides cationic and dispersing properties, useful for modifying powder material surfaces.

Bitumen (Asphalt): Enhances adhesion with sand, gravel, and ash. Treated bitumen shows excellent resistance to flood, acid rain, and corrosion.
Rubber Processing: Used as retarders for fast-curing butyl rubbers to reduce scorching, curing accelerators, and softening agents.
Antistatic Agents: Forms a continuous conducting film on fiber and plastic surfaces to eliminate static during production.
Flotation: Effective in removing silica from low-grade iron ores and separating silica from barite.
Store in a sealed container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area away from fire sources.
Packing: 200ml bottle, 25kg plastic drum, 200kg iron drum
Delivery: Express for samples; Air and Ocean freight for bulk orders
