Product Description
VPU-1 Single Component Waterborne Hydrophilic Polyurethane Grouting Material

VPU-1 is a one-component hydrophilic polyurethane grouting material. It reacts rapidly with water, solidifies and expands to close cracks, effectively stopping water leaks. After reaction, it forms a milky white elastic colloid with high strength, low shrinkage, and excellent impermeability.

PU Grouting Material
  • Low Viscosity: Quick reaction in water forming an impervious elastic body.
  • High Strength: Excellent compressive strength and elasticity.
  • Deep Penetration: Effectively penetrates deep into fine cracks for thorough sealing.
  • Adjustable: Viscosity and curing speed can be customized to requirements.
  • Versatile: Ideal for dams, subways, tunnels, and underground structures.

PU Grouting Steps & Methodology

Polyurethane foam injection enables liquid polymer to be injected into cracks under pressure. High-pressure injection is ideal for high water flow areas like basements and swimming pools. The process involves drilling holes and injecting grout until it fills all voids and expands to seal water damage.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between hydrophilic and hydrophobic PU grout?
Hydrophilic grout (like VPU-1) reacts with water and incorporates it into the structure, making it ideal for wet environments. Hydrophobic grout repels water and is known for high stability and minimal shrinkage.
How fast does VPU-1 react with water?
VPU-1 features a very fast response time, typically achieving a gel state within 10 to 20 seconds upon contact with water.
In which scenarios should I use high-pressure injection?
High-pressure injection is recommended for areas with significant water flow or deep structural cracks, such as subway tunnels, basements, and dam reinforcements.
What is the expansion capacity of this material?
The foaming capacity of our PU grouting materials ranges from 500% to 10000%, allowing it to fill large voids and cracks effectively.
How should the product be stored?
The material should be stored in its original 18kg or 200kg drums in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture to prevent premature reaction.
Can the curing speed be adjusted?
Yes, the viscosity and curing speed of the grout can be adjusted according to specific customer requirements and site conditions.
